Sr Data Migration Lead

The Sr Data Migration Lead serves as the overall technical lead responsible for data architecture and modeling for enterprise applications, and designs, develops and executes data migration plans. This role requires in-depth mortgage industry expertise, experience implementing large mortgage technology solutions, and experience supporting federal government contracts and programs.  This role demands expert collaboration, influence, persuasion, and presentation skills.

Key Functions

  • Serves as the overall technical lead responsible for the data architecture and modeling for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborates with multiple development teams to ensure high quality implementation of data and modeling requirements, including testing across multiple systems, support for production releases, and post-release data validation.
  • Designs, develops, and executes data migration plans.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+years of related experience
  • Comfortable working with large databases and understanding the implications of data changes.
  • Ability to understand and navigate multiple systems (Salesforce, AWS, API’s and databases) to maintain a broad overview of the project.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce objects, relationships, and data changes in AWS databases.
  • Ability to navigate and understand the screens and functionality within Salesforce.
  • Experience with managing and documenting data flows.
  • Basic knowledge of PostgresSQL and API’s to understand data movement and storage structures.
  • Comfortable working with large databases and understanding the implications of data changes.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Excel, or Python for data analysis to support decision making and reporting.

 

Preferred Skills

  • In depth knowledge of mortgage industry.
  • Experience with leading data migrations in a federal government IT transformation.
  • Experience with implementing Salesforce or AWS solutions for the federal government.
  • Familiarity with MISMO data standards.

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required

Pay & Benefits

  • 💰 Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $100,000 to $200,000 and is set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
